On March 22nd, the Dual Language School hosted an in-person Town Hall Meeting for our school families to discuss the future of our school with several city officials. Waltham Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Brian Reagan, Mayor Jeannette McCarthy and several School Committee members, including Mrs. Elizabeth AlJammal, Mrs. Debbie Coleman, and Mr. John Frassica, attended this event. The audience heard about the history of the Dual Language School, and had the opportunity to submit questions for Dr. Reagan, including questions on the future location, structure and size of Dual Language.

Thank you to Dr. Reagan, Mayor McCarthy, and members of the School Commitee for your time for this important discussion! Thank you to all the teachers, staff and families who attended this event and submitted questions for discussion!

If you are a current parent of a current Dual Language School student or member of staff, and are interested in participating in a subteam focused on the future of Dual Language, please send an email to waltham.bilingual.pto@gmail.com.
