On Monday, June 10, 3rd grade explored the New England Aquarium as their last field trip of year. Students visited the penguins, saw Myrtle the green sea turtle (who has lived at the Aquarium since June 1970), and pet sting rays in the touch tank! The teachers also scheduled a viewing of Secrets of the Sea 3D, where students learned about some of the ocean’s strangest and most spectacular animals, such as as pygmy seahorses, squid and manta rays!
